Due to our Extensive travelling in the UK and the need to find suitable accommodation for our furry guests on occasions, we have decided to put together a review of some of the places we have stayed.

We have been surprised to discover that even when you are out and about in the countryside, there are still many country pubs and hotels that are not pet friendly. You would often think that the mere fact that many of these premises are located in rural settings, that many travellers would be there with the faithful four legged friends. Below are the some of the best dog friendly places we have stayed and we will continue to update our favourites as our adventures continue.

Hadley Bowling Green Droitwich

The Hadley Bowling Green in Droitwich is truly what it advertises “A hidden gem” This pub offers not only great accommodation for us humans, but is totally dedicated to ensuring your dogs have the same experience. Rooms are spacious and your dogs can enjoy all the creature comforts of home, without you worrying about a thing. It is totally a place we would recommend to visit if you are in Worcestershire with you furry companions as both you and them will be made very welcome.

The Border Hotel
Yeltholm

The Border Hotel in Yeltholm is situated on the borders between Scotland and UK. Being a country pub situated on the Pennine Way it is a popular destination for walkers with their furry walking companions and both are made to feel very welcome both in the rooms and bars. I have enjoyed some great food here and my furry companions have always been made to feel right at home. I would thoroughly recommend this as a place to stay and plenty of lovely walks for you to explore with your pets.

The Bell Inn Broadheath Worcestershire

From the moment you walk into the The Bell inn you and your four legged friend are made to feel right at home. The staff are simply great and are always there to help it any way. The rooms are very well equipped and are very doggy friendly with treats and bowls and a bed ready for your travelling companion. I have enjoyed my many stays here with my furry guests and have never felt disappointed with either the food or accommodation. Certainly a place to visit if you are ever travelling in Worcestershire.

The New Inn Carnforth

This is truly a beautiful hidden gem in the heart of Lancashire. The pub is totally dedicated to ensuring both you and your pets are made welcome. Rooms are spacious and very modern with great facilities. The restaurant serves some fantastic local produce dishes and your furry friends are welcome to join you. I would recommend this as a must visit place if your travelling in the area.
