What’s your cancellation policy?

We work on the basis that up to 21 days before the departure date we refund all of the 50% deposit except for £20 admin charge. If the cancellation is after the 21 days date, we cannot refund the deposit, but we will obviously look at each case individually as we understand that many things can interfere with travel.


Do you have pick up and drop off point?

We do not like to work with pick up or drop off points as we prefer to do a door to door service as we believe it is less stressful for the animals. We do though have exceptions to this rule if needed, but mainly this is due to the fact that we don’t collect animals from non tarmac roads or in situations where it is difficult for our vehicle to reach.

How long do the trips take?

Our trips usually set off Wednesday afternoons from Portugal and we plan to arrive in the UK Friday afternoon to start dropping off. The UK trip usually leaves on the Tuesday and arrive to drop of in Portugal Thursday Morning. We drive in accordance to the UK and EU driving regulations for light vans https://www.gov.uk/guidance/drivers-hours-goods-vehicles/2-great-britain-domestic-rules , so allowing for the designated rest breaks, the journey is not possible in a quicker time unless you are breaking the law. We always put the animals first and working within the driving regulations means we are always refreshed and safe.
